The Vietnam visa fees is divided in two fees. 1. Vietnamese visa service fee to Vietnamevisa.nz is for processing and arranging your pre-approval Visa letter directly at the Immigration Department of Vietnam. The Visa approval letter is your travel document to board your flight and is a legal document issued by the government.

The approval letter is a legal document. It is officially granted and issued directly by the Immigration Department of Vietnam (Vietnam Ministry of foreign Affairs) and confirms that you are allowed to get the Vietnam Visa Stamp in your passport. It is pre-approved or pre-granted. These visa types are classified as pre-arranged evisa or online visa, e.g. Visa on arrival (only by air), eVisa* (only eligible countries) or evisa code at embassy (only at embassy).

Alternative is to apply by yourself at the local Vietnamese Embassy, the traditional way. The Embassy will process towards the immigration and issue the visa stamp. The Vietnamese visa fees is then paid at once to the Embassy.

STAMPING FEE

Another Vietnam visa fees are “visa stamping fee”. The visa stamping fee is for issuing the visa stamp into your passport. You collect your visa stamp at chosen pickup point.

Different visa type have different options. E.g. Vietnamese Visa on arrival is can collect visa stamp when landing at any international airport in Vietnam. You have to pay the visa stamping fee in cash (USD or VND only) at the immigration/landing visa counter.

Vietnam visa fees and available services depend on visa type and your entry port into Vietnam. Vietnam is one of the countries that offer low visa cost. It is very easy to apply online. There are many options available to apply to Vietnam. Vietnamese Immigration process normal visa in time-interval; 08-12 and 13-17 (GMT/UTC +7). Last minute or emergency visa.

(Emergency visa is only available as visa on arrival. It cost much more, more complexed and more restricted. Apply early to avoid it)

Processing time:

Your visa is process direct towards the Vietnamese Immigration. Your applications will be check internal for main errors before submitting to the immigration. E.g. missing a passport numbers, arrival date vs. processing time etc. Office hours, GMT/UTC +7. Except emergency or last minute visa. The immigration process in time-interval 08-12.00 and 13-17.00. Application submitted after 08.00 (GMT+7), start next time-interval 13.00 PM etc.

E.g. Visitor submit a visa with express (2 working days) and paid service fee at 13.05 PM day 1. The visa will be sent to the immigration day 1, They will register, but not process until next time-frame, meaning 08.00 next day. Your visa will then be finished 2 working days from then.

Last minute visa/ emergency visa (outside office hours):

Processing outside office hours or in emergency cases. We can process within 30 minutes if needed. Order correctly online with correct processing time. Time is crucial here, and everything need to be correct. It is not straight forward, but we will make it as smooth as possible. Available visa varies from 14 days ( Ho Chi Minh City) to 1 months single (Hanoi). Customer should consider to reschedule travel plans vs. emergency visa cost.

E.g. Visitor needs to check-in flight within 2 hours on Saturday, apply Emergency visa and “Emergency max 2 hours, Outside office hours!”.

This service includes airport assistance, since we need to further process your visa once arrived. You need to meet our staff, and we need to submit documents with our company as sponsor. Visa processing is not finished until this step has been done. This is only for emergency visa cases.

Urgent cases (during office hours):

Urgent cases is recommended to order with pick up/ airport service. Make sure all info are according to your passport to avoid any delays. Urgent involve stress and risk of wrong information.

Tourist & family visas:Tourist and family or other purpose is regarded as straight forward. Easy for most countries, e.i. New Zealand and Australia etc.

Business & study visas: Business visa are more strict and need further documentation. There are two options here.

Single: Exit and enter one time.

Multiple: Exit and enter Vietnam more than one time (during your chosen time). 3 months multi are restrict and not fully 3 months. It is only 80 days. This is regulated by the immigration.

Semi Restricted: Some countries are semi-restrict, e.g. Israel and China, meaning the visa regulation and processing is often changed. There will be an extra nationality fee for this countries.

Restricted countries: Getting visa to Vietnam is very difficult and complicated. Much paperwork and documentations. Hence, the extra nationality fee is much higher than other countries. Unfortunately, restricted countries need at least 7 days processing and cannot process urgent. In many cases, the best option is to apply direct at the Vietnamese local embassy. E.g. Iran, Irak, Afghanistan etc.
